What To Wear: Guest At A Summer Wedding

A couple of weeks ago I was over at Let's Talk Live sharing stylish and fun outfits to wear for upcoming summer weddings. Here is detailed information on all the looks from the TV segment. {Click here to check out TV segment.}

The Backyard Wedding

The backyard wedding is a chance to showcase your personal style without breaking your budget. You can aim to pick a fun and low-key dress that can be paired with simple wedges or a metallic sandal that are most likely already pieces in your wardrobe. It is a fun and easy look that is low-key but always stylish.

Beach Wedding

When attending a beach wedding you can never go wrong with a maxi dress. It is the perfect way to maintain a casual yet stylish ensemble. Add a hint of sophistication with some gold bangles, a statement clutch and then some elevation with a pair of wedges.

The Cocktail Wedding

This wedding is still more towards the formal end of the spectrum, however it is less conservative. A jumpsuit it the perfect option because it is still formal but fun. With this look you are already making such an eye-catching statement so you don't  have to worry about wearing strong jewelry. Opt for linear but simple accents that accentuate the tailoring of your look but won't overpower its stylish simplicity. A couple of layered necklaces with a fun clutch and a beautiful ankle strap shoe is all you need.

Country Club Wedding

A country club affair class for a fancier and more conservative look. This floral dress from Rebecca Taylor is the perfect way to stay formal but look fantastic. While at the beach or in the backyard you can wear a chic sandal, here you should aim to wear a pump or heel to ensure a more formal feel to your ensemble. Finish your look with some metallic bangles and a classic black clutch.
