Beauty Review: Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour® Cream All-Over Miracle Oil

Face oils can be a great addition to your beauty routine if you know how to use them correctly. I only started using face oils about a year ago and started with this face oil by Peter Thomas Roth. So when I received the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour® Cream All-Over Miracle Oil by the folks at Red Door (as part of their Brand Ambassador program) I was super excited to try out another one. The 8 Hour® Cream All-Over Miracle Oil is inspired by cult favorite Eight Hour® Cream and this face oil left my skin with a healthy glow without a greasy after-feel. The oil can also be used on the hair to promote shine and moisture. It is the 'all you need' product in one sleek bottle.

To use this product on my face I applied the mist to my fingertips and then gently layered the oil directly onto clean, dry skin.  The key with any face oil is to apply it last- after your moisturizer and other beauty products. This is because face oils are not moisturizers but instead they act to seal in moisture and coat the top layer of skin. This face oil has a little hint of a floral scent. It's very mild and pleasant but takes some getting used to if you are used to using oils that don't have any scent at all.
